Rodney Doyle Page

CLAY CITY ---- Rodney Doyle Page, 45, of Clay City, died at 3:22 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

Born Dec. 5, 1958, in Henderson, Ky., he was the son of Jewell B. and Betty Parsons Page.

He had been a resident of Clay City for the past six years, having moved there from Henderson, Ky. On June 2, 1997, he married Linda Brooks. Due a disability he had been unable to work for the past five years. Prior to that he had been employed at various factories.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; two sons, Rodney Page Jr. and Roger Dale Page, both of Linton; two daughters, Melissa Gayle Page and Whitney Nicole Page, both of Clay City; one step-daughter, Laura Brooks of Henderson, Ky.; three brothers, Edward Page and wife Lois of Henderson, Gary Dean Page and wife Hester of Brazil; Paul Page and wife Betty of Clay City; a sister, Brenda Evans of Henderson, Ky.; a half-brother, Donnie Page and wife Joan of Henderson; a half-sister, Susan Gayle Page of Henderson; three grandchildren, Abigail, Kaden and Devin Page; and two step-grandchildren, Joshua and Jaekob Sluder.

He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Linda Lou Page Glassco; his grandmother, Lillie Coe, and a half-brother, Ronald Page.

Services were at 1 p.m. today at the Schoppenhorst Funeral Home in Clay City with Mark Grubbs officiating. Burial was at Sassafras Cemetery in Linton.
