Born March 1, 1918, in Jasonville, she was the daughter of John Robert and Martha Ashcraft Gibson.
She had been a bookkeeper for Siepman Coal Company for five years and Postmistress of the Coalmont Post Office for 37 years.
Survivors include her husband, Freland Stark, whom she married Nov. 9, 1955; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ina and Mark McClanahan of Indianapolis, and Jaye and John (Stark) Strecker of Terre Haute; a sister, Helen Rhodes of Clay City; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Roy Gibson and Lester Gibson.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. on Saturday at the McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with the Rev. Harold Thomas officiating. Burial will be at K of P Cemetery in Hymera.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
