Born Dec. 7, 1924, in Jasonville, he was the son of Harry and Ruth White Anderson.
He was a maintenance worker for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources at Shakamak State Park. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie (Pasko) Hall Anderson of Jasonville, whom he married on May 19, 1971; daughters April Anderson and Wendy Anderson; sons Dane C. Anderson and Scott E. Anderson; step-daughters and spouses Pam and Bob Chattin of Jasonville, and Ginger and Robert Bobb of Indianapolis; step-sons Hal S. and Rita Hall of Linton; grandchildren Jeremy (Angel) Chattin, Brandon (Juanita) Chattin, Candra (Randy) Brunson, Jessie Chattin, Amber Barish, John (Ashley) Hancock, Kaleb Scott Hall, Lacey Hall, Levi Hall, Kelsey Hall; step-grandchildren Paul (Sara) Chapman, April (Darrin) Fifer; sisters Frances Bennett of Jasonville, Betty Ginter of Lake Station, Ind., and Jean VanMurten of Jasonville; a brother, Jim W. Anderson of Jasonville and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Lloyd Anderson.
Service will be 1 p.m. on Monday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with the Rev. Carl Leth officiating.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Sunday.
