BLOOMFIELD ---- Aubra Jade Hiland, 18, of Bloomfield, passed away at 11:28 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at Schneck Memorial Hospital in Seymour.

Born May 16, 1985 in Coatsville, she was the daughter of Jeffery and Peggy Waggoner Hiland of Bloomfield.

She was a student at Hanover College where she was studying literature and journalism.

Survivors include her parents; two brothers, Seth Hiland of Freeville, New York, and Zachary Hiland of Bloomfield; paternal grandparents Marvin and Letha Hiland of Bloomfield; maternal grandmother Patricia McGheagy of Indianapolis; uncle and aunts Jerry and Judy Hiland of Indianapolis and Debbie Conn of Mishawaka; other family members, cousins, friends and schoolmates.

There will be no public visitation. Memorial services will be at the Bloomfield First Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. on Friday.

A memorial scholarship is being established in her name. Contributions may be made c/o the Chaplain's Office, Hanover College, P.O. Box 890, Hanover, Ind. 47243.
