Born April 24, 1934, in Linton, he was the son of Frank and Bertha (Fenson) Sullivan. He retired from Jack Wheeler Ford after working 32 years as a mechanic, and he owned Sullivan Auto for 20 years. He attended Saron United Church of Christ in Linton.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Hildred B. (Carpenter) Sullivan; daughter and son-in-law Peggy and Chris Sharp of Linton; son and daughter-in-law Rick and Rhonda Sullivan of Linton; a brother, Robert P. Sullivan of Linton; four sisters-in-law, Mary Joann Sullivan, Mary Walton and Dorothy Carpenter, all of Linton, and Violet Tincher of Middletown; a brother-in-law, Don Tincher of Middletown; three grandchildren, Chandra Sharp, Ryan and Josh Sullivan, all of Linton; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Clovis, Ora, Roy, Harold and John Sullivan; three sisters, Hazel Johnson, Betty Jo Sullivan and Bessie Johnson, and his parents.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, at the Welch and Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel with Rev. Mike Roth officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. until the hour of the service on Monday.
