ODON - Bonnie R. Bechtel, 76, of Odon, passed away at 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2004, at the Ketcham Memorial Nursing Center in Odon.

Born Aug. 11, 1927, in Greene County, she was the daughter of Emerson and Nellie (Sinclair) Laughlin.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Odon First Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Calvin Bechtel, whom she married March 13, 1954; one daughter, Lisa (Mrs. Wayne) Groves of Odon; one brother, Robert Laughlin of Lyons; and three sisters, Mary Lou Zimmerly of Switz City, Lois Jackson and Janice Herndon, both of Linton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant brothers.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church in Odon with Brother Richard Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. on Friday, and from 10 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.
