Born on Oct. 7, 1961 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Jerry and Sandra (Pirtle) Brown.
He was a 1979 Linton High School graduate, he served in the U. S. Army during the Gulf War, a member of the Linton First Baptist Church and American Legion Post # 17 in Gallatin, Tenn.
Survivors include his step-mother, Paula Ammerman Brown of Sullivan; two sisters, Kerri Helms and her husband Loren of Bloomfield, and Angie Elliott of Indianapolis; one brother, Scott Brown and his wife Jen of Chrisman, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Newby Funeral Home Chapel at 202 E. Main St., Gallatin, Tenn., with American Legion Post # 17 officiating.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 29, at Fairview Cemetery in Linton with Dr. Kenneth Adams officiating with Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Carol Monroe Junior children's Hospital at VUMC in Nashville, Tenn.
