SOMERSET ---- Clara Pribble Kern, 90, passed away on March 16, 2004, at 2 a.m. at Wesleyan Health Care Center in Marion.

Born Sept. 8, 1913 in Daviess County, she was the daughter of James and Etta (Rarden) Carpenter.

She was a homemaker and a member of Kentucky Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Boots Jack of Somerset; one sister, Mildred Fields of Mitchell; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Pribble; her second husband, Hubert Kern; one son, Jack Pribble; one daughter, Lucille Ringo; one sister; one brother; one grandson, Larry Ringo; and her parents.

Funeral service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Burial will follow at Kentucky Ridge Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Thursday.

Donations in lieu flowers are asked to made to the Kentucky Ridge Baptist Church or the Wesleyan Health Care Center.
