WORTHINGTON ---- Chloe R. Padgett, 85, of Worthington, passed away Friday, March 12, 2004, at 1:05 a.m. at Shakamak Good Samaritan Center in Jasonville.

Born Sept. 13, 1918 in Owen County, she was the daughter of Curtis and Sadie (Auten) Royer.

She was a housewife and a member of the Worthington Church of Christ.

Survivors include a brother-in-law, Renis Knust of Center Point, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Padgett; one sister, Fern Knust; and her parents.

Funeral service will be at Welch and Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington at 1 p.m. on Monday with the Rev. Ken Matthews officiating. Burial will follow at Worthington Cemetery.

Friends may call after 11 a.m. until the time of service Monday.
