Pauline Rehmel, 89, of Lewis, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at 11:20 a.m. at her residence.

Born Sept. 11, 1914 in Clay County, she was the daughter of James and Margaret (Dalgram) Bicard.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include four daughters, Linda Sharp of Hymera, Sandy Goble and Judy White of Shelburn, and Vickie Rehmel of Jasonville; three sons, Bill Rehmel, Robert Rehmel, and Larry Rehmel, all of Jasonville; 27 grandchildren; and 33 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rehmel, whom she married on Jan. 11, 1936; her parents; one daughter, Shirley Rissler; one sister; and two brothers.

Funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with Pastor Chris McKinney officiating. Burial will follow at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on today, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Friday.
