Carolyn June Walters, 64, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004 at 10:48 a.m. at Sullivan County Community Hospital.

Born June 3, 1939 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Miner and Lucille (Black) Walters.

She was an administrative assistant at the Department of Natural Resources in Jasonville.

Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Sally Walters of Terre Haute and Bob and Sue Walters of Coalmont; one niece, Tina Krueger of Terre Haute; and two great nieces, Emily Krueger and Tiffany Krueger, both of Terre Haute.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service was Saturday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with the Rev. Harold Thomas officiating. Burial followed at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
