Maurice E. "Reese" Roe, 46, of Sullivan, passed away at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

Born July 4, 1957 in Sullivan, he was the son of Kenneth H. Roe.

He worked for the Sullivan County Library in maintenance and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sullivan.

Survivors include his wife, Shane (Harrison) Roe of Sullivan; two daughters, Erin (Roe) Bennett of Mooresville and Miranda Roe; one brother, Gary Roe of Carlisle; one sister, Alice Cox of Carlisle; one step-brother; one step-sister; a step-mother, Barbara Roe of Sullivan; three grandchildren, Morgan, Kyran and Spencer; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth H. Roe.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Alexander-Kean Funeral Home in Sullivan with Pastor Tim Fleace officiating. Burial will be in the Oaktown Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
