Shirley A. Earle, 71, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at her residence.

Born Aug. 14, 1932 in Sullivan County, she was the daughter of Juie and Nellie (Myers) Wellington.

Survivors include three sons, Darrell Earle of Terre Haute, Irvin Ray Earle, Jr. of Linton, and Randy Gene Earle of Bloomington; one daughter, Deborah Earle of Linton; one sister, Georgia Hall of Linton; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Ray Earle; four brothers, Darrell, Dale, Duke, and Bobby Wellington; one sister, Ruth Stonel and one great-grandson, Michael Wayne Simmons.

Funeral service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Fellow Baptist Church in Linton with Pastor Warren Allen officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
