SUPPLY, N.C. ---- David Lee Howell, 44, of Supply, N.C., and formerly of Linton, passed away Friday, April 16, 2004 at his residence.

Born Sept. 21, 1959 in Linton, he was the son of Jerry and Mildred (Ashcraft) Howell.

He was an U.S. Army Veteran and attended the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Howell of Supply, N.C.; one daughter, Kimberly Howell of Supply, N.C.; his mother, Mildred Howell of Linton; his grandmother, Naomi Howell of Linton; two brothers, Johnny Howell and his wife Kathy of Linton and Kenneth Howell of Owensville, Ohio; one sister, Debra Hamm and her husband Gary of Supply, N.C.; and one nephew.

Military graveside services, conducted by Linton American Legion Post 22 and with the Rev. Warren Allen officiating, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Friends may call at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
