Guy D. Singleton, 56, of Cass, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2004 at 4:21 p.m. at Sullivan County Community Hospital.

Born Feb. 23, 1948 in Sullivan County, he was the son of Omer and Eva June (Ashcraft) Singleton.

Survivors include two brothers, Roger Singleton of Cass and Murl Singleton of Pleasantville; two sisters, Yolanda Neff and Connie Miller, both of Cass; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Sarah June, and Julie Ann Singleton; and his parents.

Funeral service will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Brother J. B. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Dugger Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, and before the service Wednesday.
