INDIANAPOLIS ---- Myrtle Marie Cox, 97, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at 10:25 a.m. at Harborside Nursing Center in Decatur.

Born March 5, 1907 in Dugger, she was the daughter of Tort Reynolds, and she was raised by her mother Kathryn Young, and her step-father, Oren Young.

She was retired from Western Electric Co. of Indianapolis. She was a member of the Dugger Church of Christ, she also loved to watch basketball and the Indiana Pacers.

Survivors include one sister, Ruth Cummings of Solsberry; two nephews; one niece; several great nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold "Bootjack" Reynolds and Willard Young; a sister, Ethel Young; and her parents and step-father.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. at Walnut Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Don Tichenor officiating.
