Born Oct. 25, 1927 in Bloomfield, she was the daughter of Ruben and Orda (Skinner) Blaker.
She had been an assembly line worker for Sarkes Tarzian in Bloomington and a member of the Bloomfield First Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her husband, James R. Hanson of Bloomfield; two sons, James David Hanson of New Albany and Darrell Eugene Hanson of Florida; one daughter, Bonita Elaine Hanson of Bloomington; three brothers, Milo Blaker of Spencer, Ted Blaker of Bloomfield and Merle Blaker of Franklin; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Forest Keith Hanson in 1991; one brother, Russell Blaker; one sister, Marjorie Groomer and one grandson.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at the Bloomfield First Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Dean VanSlyke officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Visitation was Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Friends may call today one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
