Born June 1, 1923 in Port Clinton, Ohio, he was the son of Hans C. and Karen (Hansen) Jensen. He was married to Sibyl Rose (Anderson) Jensen.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a production engineer for NWSC Crane. He attended the Bloomfield First Presbyterian Church and was a member of Bloomfield Masonic Lodge 84.
Survivors include his wife Sibyl Rose (Anderson) Jensen of Linton; one daughter Karen Martin of Philadelphia Pa.; three sons, Daniel Jensen of Jamaica, Donald Jensen of Bloomington, and Charles Jensen of California; three sisters, Eleanor Miller of Sandusky, Ohio, Anna Hansen of Port Clinton, Ohio, and Vivian Wadsworth of Apache Junction, Ariz.; one brother Ronald Jensen of Port Clinton, Ohio; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler and the Rev. Peggy Casteel officiating. Burial will be at Mount Nebo Cemetery in Newberry.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, and one hour prior to service Friday at the funeral home. There will be Masonic Lodge services at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home by Masonic Lodge 84 and military services will be by Bloomfield American Legion Post 196.
