Mathieu A. Santos, born June 10, 2004, passed away June 27, 2004 at Brenners Childrens Hospital in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Survivors include: his mother DeAnna L. Santos; a sister Jazmine L. Santos; grandparents Norman and Debra Ayers of Linton; great-grandparents Clellan and Wilma Thornton of Linton; an uncle, Michael E. Ayers of Wilkesboro N.C.; three aunts, Adriene M. Ayers of Tazwell, Va., Tina M. Osborne of Hayes, N.C., and Rita R. Chipman of Wilkesboro, N.C.; great aunt Allison Wease of Linton; and 11 cousins.

A memorial service will be at Smoot Park Cemetery, Wilkesboro, N.C., on July 2 at 2 p.m.
