Robert Lloyd Robinson, 61, of Switz City, passed away at 5:01 a.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2004 in Greene County Community Hospital.

Born Oct. 12, 1942 in Bloomington, he was the son of Joseph Forrest and Helen Lorraine (McGriffin) Robinson. He married Gail Ann Hollowell on Sept. 11, 1971 in Bedford.

He was a retired school bus driver and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he served as an Elder. He was an Air Force veteran and enjoy NASCAR.

Survivors include: his wife, Gail Ann Hollowell of Switz City; one daughter Lyssa Jo Pferrer of Lyons; five grandchildren, Ann Marie, William Robert, Patricia Lorraine, Joseph Richard and Christina Joy; and one brother Thomas B. Robinson of Puyallup, Wash.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Bedford with Jerome Gootee officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery in Bedford.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. at Day & Carter Mortuary, Bedford, and at the church Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
