David William Floyd

PALM BAY, Fla. ---- David William Floyd, 65, and formerly of Bloomfield, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at home.

Floyd was born Sept. 18, 1938 in Bloomfield. He moved to Indialantic, Fla., from Huntsville, Ala., in 1965.

He retired from Harris Corporation after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Azan Temple Shriners. He also enjoyed gardening and fishing.

Floyd is survived by his wife, Gerri Floyd; son, Jeff (Margarita) Floyd; step-daughters, Allis (James) Corbin and Trudy Schluessell; granddaughter, Amanda Schluessell and fianc/ Torry Thomas; two great-grandchildren, Amara and Amani; and a brother, Carl (Loreen) Floyd.

Fountainhead Memorial Funeral Home of Palm Bay, Fla., was in charge of arrangements.
