Virginia May McKinley, 79, of Carlisle passed away at 6:29 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at Good Samaritan Hospital Vincennes.

Born Aug. 11, 1924 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Parker and Pearle (Lester) Heaton

She was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star, Bloomfield.

Survivors include: one son Richard Ellett of Carlisle; and two grandchildren, Logan Ellett and Lance Ellett, both of Carlisle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Harry Ellett, who passed away April 29, 1966; her second husband Robert McKinley, who passed away Feb. 6, 1997; two sisters; and one grandson.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home Bloomfield with the Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday and from 1 p.m. to the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home.
