Gilbert H. "Gib" Williams, 78, of Worthington, passed away Friday morning, June 4, 2004 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born Aug. 9, 1925 in Clay County, he was the son of Ralph and Mamie (McCloskey) Williams.

He was a retired truck driver and mechanic and a member of First Baptist Church in Worthington.

Survivors include: his wife Roberta (Meek) Williams of Worthington, who he married Feb. 3, 1945; two sons, Billy Williams of Worthington and Gary Williams of Worthington; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter Donna Robertson; one grandson; one brother; and one sister.

Graveside service will be today at 1 p.m. at the Worthington Cemetery with the Bro. Matt Baker officiating.
