Gerald V. Keene, 74, of Sullivan, passed away at 11:15 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 2004 at Sullivan County Community Hospital.

Born Feb. 22, 1930 in South Bend, he was the son of John and Goldie (Weatherman) Keene.

He was a former employee of SCARC Industries and attended the Northwood Baptist Church.

Survivors include: his mother Goldie; one brother William Keene of Granger; an aunt Nell Hochestetter of Buckskin and his extended family; James, Jimmy, Harry, Lisa, Teresa, Amy, Leann, and Paul.

He was preceded in death by his father, a brother and a sister.

Private service will take place at Alexander-Kean Funeral Home in Sullivan. Cremation is scheduled and burial will be in Sumption Prairie Cemetery in South Bend.
