Born January 2, 1912 in Bloomfield, she was the daughter of Truman and Aytchaphala (Martindale) Stringfellow. She had been married to Chester McCart who preceded her in death.
McCart was a homemaker and a member of the Bloomfield Christian Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Armstead McCart of Cookeville, Tenn., and Jack Borton of Pierceton; three daughters, Deborah Ashcraft of St. Pass Christian, Miss., Rachel Gholson of Mineral, and Jill Pardue of Sullivan; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Chester McCart, one daughter, two brothers and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home Bloomfield with Rev. Danny Caulkins officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the hour of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
