BEECH GROVE ---- Ruby S. Lester, 80, of Beech Grove, passed away July 7, 2004.

Born Oct. 5, 1923 in Martin County, she was the daughter of Murray and Mary Edna (Anderson) Selby.

She worked as a machinist and an inspector at Allison Division of General Motors for 49 years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of the Beech Grove Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include: One son, Ron York of Carmel; one daughter Lee Farnworth of Beech Grove; one sister Catherine Holtsclaw of Bloomfield; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Little & Sons Beech Grove Chapel.

Friends may call Saturday from 1-3 p.m. at the chapel.
