Born March 24, 1924 in Greene County, he was the son of Albert and Flora (Abrams) Stahl.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Christian Church and Worthington Senior Citizens.
Survivors include: one daughter Emma J. Dayhoff of Worthington; three sons, Charles Stahl, Jr. and his wife Judy of Bloomfield, Robert Stahl of Worthington, and Donald Stahl and his wife Pam of Worthington; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister Virginia Dyer of Worthington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty (Thompson) Stahl, who passed away March 30, 2001, a brother George Stahl, and a son-in-law Doug Dayhoff.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington. Burial will follow at Dixon Cemetery south of Worthington.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
