Lewis E. Scott, 77, of Lyons, passed away at 1:55 p.m. Sunday, August 8, 2004 at Greene County General Hospital.

Born July 24, 1927 in Dawson Springs Kentucky, he was the son of Harry and Emma (Porter) Scott.

Lewis was a retired truck driver for Roadway and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Ohio and American Legion Post 22 in Linton. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Ohio.

Survivors include: his wife Mary Ann (Chopas) Scott of Lyons; one daughter Debbie Lipps of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Louise Baker of Worthington, and Arlene Noel of Lyons; and one grandson Tony Lipps;

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Sandy Scott and one brother.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service. Private Family Graveside Services will be at a later date. Burial will be at Dog Island Cemetery Lyons. Jenkins Funeral Home Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
