Glenda Ferguson Roach, 92, of Bloomfield, passed away at 10:50 p.m. on Aug. 3, 2004 at Greene County General Hospital.

Born Sept. 27, 1911 in Gumbo, Mo., she was the daughter of John and Pearl (Lawson) Groves.

She was a cashier for Ben Franklin Stores and a member of Tulip Church of God.

Survivors include: her husband Vernon Roach of Bloomfield; four daughters, Helen Green of Columbia City, Betty Tally of Bloomfield, Carol and her husband Nelson Roach of Bloomfield, and Sue and her husband George Gentry of Mitchell; one step-son Dan and his wife Sherry Roach of New Castle; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband the Rev. Sanferd Ferguson, who passed away in 1982; four brothers; three sisters; a daughter Barbara Maloy in 1992; and two sons-in-law.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Tulip Church of God, rural Bloomfield, with the Rev. David Green and the Rev. Jeff Rockey officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery Bloomfield.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home Bloomfield and one hour prior to service at Tulip Church of God on Saturday.
