Wayne W. Owings, 74, of Sullivan, passed away at 7:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2, 2004 at his residence.

Born April 10, 1930 in Sullivan, he was the son of John Wesley and Lacy Mae (Brown) Owings.

He served in the U.S. Army and was a retired glass worker for Midland Glass Company.

Survivors include: his wife Mary Lou (Smith) Owings of Sullivan; two sons, Mark Owings of Dugger and Mick Owings of Sullivan; one brother Richard Owings of Sullivan; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Alexander-Kean Funeral Home Sullivan with the Rev. Robert Ashba officiating. Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery Sullivan.
