Born Sept. 15, 1934 in Sullivan County, he was the son of Donald W. and Esther (Norris) Moody.
He was a retired garage owner, an International Truck dealer, former Southwest School bus contractor and was the softball coach at Sullivan High School. He was a member of Sullivan Elks 911, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a graduate of Union High School
Survivors include: his wife Stella M. (Ferguson) Moody of Terre Haute; a daughter Molly Wasson of Terre Haute; and two grandchildren, Rachel and Carly Ring of Terre Haute.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son Brandson Charles Moody; and a brother Lowell Moody.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Alexander-Kean Funeral Home, Sullivan with Chaplain Curtis Mitchell officiating. Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery, Sullivan.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
