Born Dec. 23, 1925 in Greene County, he was the son of Albert and Mildred (Miller) Felton.
William was a Marine veteran of World War II. He was a retired ordnance technician at NSWC Crane. He was a member of Mineral Methodist Church, Bloomfield American Legion Post 196, and Bloomfield Odd Fellows Lodge.
Survivors include: his wife Ruth (Hall) Felton of Bloomfield; a son Steven E. Felton of Trafalgar; two daughters, Janet Steele of Bloomington and Shelly King of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Lee Bert Felton of Bloomfield and Wayne A. Felton of Brookville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home Bloomfield with the Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler and the Rev. Ralph Roach officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, and noon Tuesday until the hour of service at the funeral home. There will be an Odd Fellows Service on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
