He was a member of Hodgenville Pentecostal Church and was a farmer and former owner of Big D's Pawn and Central Plumbing and Heating in Radcliff, Ky.
Survivors include: his wife Evelyn Joyce Pearman Hedgespeth; two sons, Larry Hedgespeth and his wife Cheryl of Hodgenville, Ky., and Daniel Wayne Hedgespeth of Radcliff, Ky.; two sisters, Wanda Groomer of Bloomfield and Maria Martindale of Ohio; two brothers, Charles Hedgespeth of Indiana and Donnie Hedgespeth of Shepherdsville, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Lucy Coffey Hedgespeth; a grandson Daniel Wayne Hedgespeth Jr.; and a sister Clara Mae Williams.
The funeral service was Monday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. James Suits and the Rev. David Webb officiating. Burial followed in the Hodgenville Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
