John A. Deischer, 34, of Linton, passed away Thursday morning, Oct. 7, 2004, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

Born April 25, 1970 in Madison, he was the son of William E. and Margaret (Kugler) Deischer.

He was an avid guitarist and artist.

Survivors include: his parents William E. and Margaret (Kugler) Deischer of Linton; a son Jonathon A. Secrest of Linton; a brother Bill A. Deischer of Linton; two sisters, Mariann Fields and Heidi Woodruff, both of Linton; and nieces and nephews, Isaac and Jessica Donie, Aubrey and Wyatt Franklin, Maggie Woodruff, Dyllanne, Patton, and Aurek Deischer.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel with Gary West officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, and at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
