NEWBURGH ---- Barry D. Steele, 53, of Newburgh and formerly of Linton, passed away Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004 at Newburgh Health Care Center.

He worked at Peabody Coal Company as a foreman.

Survivors include: His son Troy Steele of Brazil; a grandson; a sister Susan Haley of Newburgh; and an aunt Murphy Watson of Hixson, Tenn.

Graveside service will be Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville, Ky.

Arrangements are by Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, Newburgh.
