Mary C. Dunning, 71, of Linton, passed away at 1 a,m. on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004 at Linton Nursing & Rehab Center.

Born Dec. 8, 1932 in Linton, she was the daughter of Carl and Maggie (Harbin) Rose.

She had worked at RCA in Bloomington and was a member of the 12th Street Church of God.

Survivors include: one son Steve and his wife Betty Dunning of Linton; two daughters, Carla and her husband Gene Mackey of Sandborn and Cathy and her husband James Cox of Linton; two sisters, Rosella Rehmel of Coalmont and Helen Bredeweg of Linton; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby O. Dunning, who passed away July 13, 2002; a son Bobby Dean Dunning; a brother Gilbert Rose and her parents.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
