Benita "Boots" Crist, 69, of More-Haven, Fla., and formerly of Jasonville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004 at Okeechobee, Fla.

Born Nov. 13, 1936 in Jasonville, she was the daughter of Ben Gordan and Katherine (Stefanski) Wallace.

She was a healthcare worker in assisted living.

Survivors include: her mother Katherine B. Wallace; a daughter Becky Krantz of Tucson, Ariz.; two sons, Kim Crist of Indianapolis and Mark Crist of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister Brenda "Janie" Hardwick of Bedford; and three grandchildren, Matthew Crist, Nicholas Krantz, and Sasha Krantz.

She was preceded in death by her father Ben Wallace and a sister Margaret Ann Haseman.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home Jasonville.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
