Cecil Smith, 84, of Monrovia, Calif., and formerly of Linton, passed away Monday, Dec. 13, 2004 in Monrovia, Calif.

Born Sept. 14, 1920 in Sullivan County, she was the daughter of Jasper Newton Dudley and Margie Vickory Dudley.

She had been employed at McGraw Edison, in St. Charles, Mo., and was a member of the Baptist Church in Monrovia.

Survivors include: a son Jimmy Smith of Monrovia City, Calif.; a sister Libby Dudley of Linton; and a niece Judy Koons of Linton.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Smith, a brother Kenneth Dudley, and a sister Lorene Dugger.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton with the Rev. John Booker officiating.

Newkirk's Funeral Home, Dugger, is in charge of arrangements.
