Evelyn L. Gragg, 84, of Newberry, passed away at 4:15 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at Greene County General Hospital.

Born July 13, 1920 in Bader, Ill., she was the daughter of Kenneth and Vinta (Bellamy) Hollenback. She was married to Harold D. Gragg.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include: her husband Harold D. Gragg of Newberry; three daughters, Judy Hazelwood of White Hall, Ill., Lynda Gragg of Yucca Valley, Calif., and Debra Meyer of Martinsville; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Bill Hollenback, and one sister Mona Hollenback.

Funeral service was at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home Bloomfield at 10 a.m. today with the Rev. Eric Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Scotland Cemetery.

Visitation was Sunday from 4-8 p.m., and one hour prior to the service today at the funeral home.
