Born Jan. 8, 1951 in Linton, she was the daughter of George and LaVelta (Kirby) Crody. She was married to Floyd Freeman.
She was a homemaker and she and her husband owned and operated Freeman Trucking in Worthington. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Worthington and Arney Homemakers, where she was a state officer for nine years. She was a former member of Tri Kappa in Worthington. She graduated from Worthington-Jefferson High School in 1969.
Survivors include: her parents George and LaVelta Crody of Worthington; her husband Floyd Freeman of Worthington; one son Curtis and his wife Nicolle Freeman of Worthington; and one grandson Evan Freeman of Fort Campbell, Ky.
Funeral service will be at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington at 1 p.m. on Tuesday with the Rev. Wes Hensley officiating. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Worthington First Baptist Church.
