Max L. Harris, 65, of Worthington, passed away at 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 21, 2005 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

Born April 15, 1939 in Worthington, he was the son of Kenneth L. and Lois K. (Ball) Harris.

He was self-employed, operating a lawn and landscaping business in Florida.

Survivors include: his wife Jackie L. (Haviland) Harris of Worthington; a son Randall L. and his wife Janet Harris of Jasonville; two grandchildren, Jennifer Harris and Joshua Harris, both of Jasonville; a sister Judy Kay Griffith of Worthington; a sister-in-law Marcheta Harris of Clay City; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jerry Warren Harris.

A private family service was conducted Saturday at Worthington Cemetery.

Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington was in charge of arrangements.
