John R. Shaw, 47, of Indianapolis, passed away at 6:26 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005 at Indianapolis.

Born Dec. 21, 1957 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Walter James and Wilma Joyce (Stark) Shaw. He was married to Lisa E. (Owings) Shaw.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran and an auto mechanic.

Survivors include: his parents Walter and Wilma Shaw; his wife Lisa E. Shaw; a son John Michael Shaw; and two brothers, James David and Donald Wayne Shaw.

Funeral service is today at 10 a.m. at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center, Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis with burial in the Washington Park East Cemetery.

Visitation was Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
