Born Feb. 1, 1919 in Worthington, he was the son of Zach and Grace (Helderman) Loveall.
He served in the U.S. Army 151st Infantry during World War II. He was a shipping clerk for A&P Bakery and later for Wonder Bread.
Survivors include: his wife of 64 years Alice M. Lovell of Indianapolis; his children, Robert S. and his wife Mary Lovell of Nineveh, Richard W. Lovell and Vickie L. Lovell; two sisters, Betty Bennett and Esta McDonald, both of Linton; two grandchildren, Suzie and her husband Todd Frazier, and Jill Yoakum; two great-grandsons, Derek and Owen Frazier; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Wilma Brunner and Anna Keller.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Ave. Funeral Homes, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. He will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Riley Hospital for Children.
