Johnny Katheryn Ballew

Johnny Katheryn Ballew, 59, of Linton, passed away at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2005, at Lyons Health & Living Center.

Born Sept. 9, 1945 in Jellico, Tenn., she was the daughter of Virginia Fields.

She was a homemaker and a member of Faith United Baptist Church of Dent, Ohio.

Survivors include: her husband Ron Ballew of Linton; three daughters, Shannon Roach of Bloomfield, Deanna Padgett of Jasonville, and Susan Clark of Linton; two brothers, Archie Fields and Gary Fields, both of Alabama; three sisters, Jimmy Foshee of Ohio, and Rita K. Bolden and Lavenna Ann Archer, both of Alabama; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother Walter Fields.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Linton First Christian Church with the Rev. Mike Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Bloomfield.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home, Bloomfield, and one hour prior to the service at the church Saturday.
