Mae O. (Oliphant) Arthur, 90, of Worthington, passed away at 6:10 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 7, 2005 at her residence.

Born Jan. 20, 1914 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Lemuel and Julia (Crites) Oliphant. She had been married to Roy D. Arthur, who passed away in 1996.

She had been a bookkeeper and tax accountant for Arthur's Tax Service in Worthington and was a member of Undenominational Church.

Survivors include: two sons, Dale Arthur of Louisville, Ky., and Keith Arthur of Bloomfield; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy D. Arthur, and one brother.

Funeral service will be at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home, Bloomfield at 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Bloomfield.

Friends may call today from 5-8 p.m., and one hour prior to service Tuesday at the funeral home.
