Robert E. "Bob" Thomas, 77, of Linton, passed away at 5:10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005 at Greene County General Hospital, Linton.

Born Dec. 15, 1927 in Sullivan, he was the son of James L. and Dica Ellen (Auten) Thomas.

He attended New Covenant Church in Linton.

Survivors include four sisters, Beaulah Underhill of Linton, Louise Hall of Linton, Iva Ethel Cullen of Linton and Gloria Ray of Worthington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and three sisters.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with the Rev. Dick Smith officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Linton.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.
