Born Sept. 14, 1937 in Glasgow, Ky., she was the daughter of Graven and Perna Pearl (Jackson) Harper.
She had worked at Keller Aluminum in Linton and was a member of the Worthington Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Temple Hill High School in Kentucky.
Survivors include: her husband J.C. Hall of Linton; four sons, Junior Russell and his wife Annette of Sandborn, Jessie Russell of Edmonton, Ky., Jerry Russell of Plainfield, and Johnny Russell of Linton; one daughter Elizabeth Hollifield and her husband James of Jasonville; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a husband George Ed Carr, and a son Jackie Dean Russell.
Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel with Ken Matthews officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call at noon Tuesday until the time of service at the funeral home.
