Born March 29, 1917 in Greene County, he was the son of Fred and Nelle (Miller) Kramer. On Dec. 31, 1941 he married Mary Ruth (Terrell) Kramer.
He was a retired farmer. He also had retired from the Indiana Highway Department in 1983. He was a member of United Church of Christ in Sebastian, Fla., and Saron United Church of Christ in Linton. He was also a member of the Linton Elks Club 866.
Survivors include: his wife Mary Ruth Kramer of Sebastian, Fla.; a son and daughter-in-law Ronald "Terry" and Gretchen Kramer of Sebastian, Fla.; two grandsons, Frie and his wife Cristine Kramer of Elizabeth City, N.C. and Bryan Kramer of Boulder, Colo.; two granddaughters, Heidi Ruth Kramer and Shea Elizabeth Kramer, both of Sebastian, Fla.; and a great-grandson Corey Kramer.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel with the Rev. Mike Roth officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Linton Elks Lodge will conduct memorial services Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Linton Saron United Church of Christ, or the VNA Hospice of Vero Beach, Fla., through the funeral home.
