Martha Jean Dishman, 81, of Lovelady, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005 at Huntsville Memorial Hospital.

She was born Aug. 22, 1923 in Butler, Pa.

She was retired and a Gold Star Mother of Vietnam.

Survivors include: one son Dale and his wife Vallery Dishman of Lovelady, Texas; three grandchildren, Scott M. and his wife Terry Dishman of Alaska, Todd and his wife Kelly Dishman of Huntsville, Texas, and Kerri Williams of Lovelady, Texas; four great-grandchildren, Derek Ray Dishman, Matthew Dishman, Shelby Dalton Dishman, and Megan Dishman; and one sister Marie Baker of Rushville.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbert Dale Dishman, who passed away Jan. 21, 1999.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Dishman Cemetery, Springville.

There will be no visitation.

Jenkins Funeral Home, Bloomfield, is in charge of local arrangements.
