Chas. Wm. "Charlie Bill" Smith, 40, of Bloomington, passed away January 30, 2005 in Bloomington.

Born Nov. 11, 1964 in Terre Haute, he was the son of Charles V. Smith II and Barbara (Padgett) Smith.

He was employed at the Post Office in Bloomington and had been a former route carrier in Linton. He was a 1983 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School.

Survivors include his mother Barbara Smith of Bloomington and two sisters, Luann Smith of Bloomington and Annalee and her husband Greg Long of Bloomington.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles V. Smith II and his grandparents, John Matt and Helen Padgett and Chas. V. Smith I and Lyndie Smith.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with Larry Tubby speaking. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
